Ever since I have been a kid, I have been interested in pistols. I purchased my first handgun as soon as I could, and started shooting competitively in 2005. My first matches were all IDPA or IDPA style. After a few months I also started shooting USPSA. I enjoy every second of my training and matches. I started attending nationals in 2007 and I am sure I will go to every one until I am too old to walk.-Ben Stoeger-

I have been a law enforcement officer for 21 years. I started with the Minneapolis police department and was with them for 1 year. The last 20 years, I have been a member of the Minnesota State Patrol. I have been a firearm instructor for the last 10 years. My shooting career started with IDPA in 1996. I felt as though I was a pretty good shooter until I attended my first IDPA match. Boy, was I mistaken. I learned very quickly I had a long way to go to bring up my level of proficiency.
A couple of years later, I was enjoying some success in the IDPA sport. Riding high on some victories, I thought I'd try my hand at USPSA in 2004. Once again, I realized I needed to bring my level up to compete with some of the local talent but, I was hooked after the first match.
In 2006 I began to hit a groove and with God's help, I was able bring my game up to be competetive in USPSA both locally and nationally.
I was picked up as a sponsored shooter by UNHOLSTERED.COM in the spring of 2009. I am very happy to fly the UNHOLSTERED.COM colors at local and national level matches as they are the nicest guys you will ever meet. The guys at UNHOLSTERED.COM have been a blessing to me and I appreciate everything they have done for me.

2010 USPSA Single Stack 2nd place A class (2 of 42 A class) 18th overall out of 275 shooters
